The Avenida I project, a 5,500 SQFT Modern Home in Tarzana, was a project that contained great detail and was meticulously crafted to the highest of standards. This custom home was conceived with an eye toward leisure and modern design. Beyond Avenida's massive storefront, soaring ceilings and floating staircase, we created a setting filled with glass that allowed the natural surroundings to flow freely and create a dramatic visual experience throughout. The challenge we faced by building a Modern Home was creating a home that has breathtaking while still creating a timeless home environment. We went with a light grey tile floor on the first floor and then a warm hardwood floor on the second floor gives off a sense of comfort-ability in the home. These two elements were brought together with a floating Stainless Steel Staircase and Wood Flooring on each step. The Flairwood Kitchen involved three materials consisting of a White Lacquer Finish, Wood Melamine Panels on the Appliances, and a Butcher Block/Caesar Stone island. All three elements kept the modern but warm look into the project.
